Notes
The three tracks by Trans Alp are all characterized by a sinister atmosphere. However, alternating song structures and a wide palette of genres and elements make each of the tracks a very different experience. While "Geister" is marked by rather pensive melancholy, sugared by the guitar and the gentle melody, "Blub" lives from a dark. decisiveness, underlined and put into effect by a spheric bass and elektro reminiscences. The German vocals of "Die Gedanken sind frei", the lyrics of a well-known German folk song, and the voice reciting them, are put into a heavy contrast to the fatalistic background, which may remind some listeners of an Ennio Morricone atmosphere
