A1 is my favourite track, i dare say it, ever. This track may sound unremarkable to some. But for me, the simplicity is where the true beauty lies. it doesn't demand any attention. it's perfectly weighted elements cruise you through 8 minutes of bliss. No matter when or where i listen it makes me happy in a most reflective manner, filling me with gratitude for life. It seems to without fail conjure up feeling of nostalgia. A cheeky nod to an unknown moment in space and time in which i am happily lounging on a golden beach without a care in the world, the sun beating on my skin as i watch the waves roll in. Bravo Glimpse and Mr Smith and thank you.
Giles Smith and Glimpse are getting better and better as time goes on. And they were excellent to start with anyway. The A side to me is where the the two spheres of Deep house and Tech house music meet to produce a smokey, sexy passage of music. It has the crisp percussion Giles is so good at, the bongos/congas sound like they're being played by fingers but you still hear and feel it clearly. Glimpse is an excellent arranger of tracks and I can hear his touch in this one. This is a good collaboration of artists, very complimentary to each other and I'd like to hear more from them. I think they'd be mad not to make more music together !! Heads up too to Martin Dawson (other half of Two Armadillos), the amount of good records he's on is impressive.

B1 has an instrumental which bumps along quite nicely, reminiscent of Johnny Fiasco's earlier mellow stuff. B2 is a remix of the title track and Jorge Caiado has done a super job, giving it a slightly darker and more pumping feel. I'd personally say A1 for the deep house sets and B2 to give a good tech house set a darker and deep feel.
