Firehouse Five Plus Two, a Dixieland Band these tracks are from 1949-1958. The Band Firehouse were a collection of Walt Disney cartoon artists and technicians under the leadership of Ward Kimball on trombone. Firehouse band in early-50' was playing at the 'Mocambo' and gained major notoriety when famous actresses, Judy Garland, Ginger Rogers, Ann Miller, Barbara Stanwick and even Lucille Ball and their participation in a Charleston contests there. Firehouse Five Plus Two had many hit records and performed on the Bing Crosby Show and remained active 1949 till mid- 70's very entertaining interpretations of Dixieland classic but in that Walt Disney cartoon music style was never lost in the many years. Giants Of Jazz (Vol. 095) is just a sweet gem indeed, this is all smiles ~ ☮ˡᵈhⁱᵖpᵢₑяᵢᶜk
